Developer Reinoo is bringing new residential units to the center of Žilina. RETRO is a residential project situated near the city’s historic district. New owners seeking to live right in the heart of a major city will be able to choose out of a total 54 units.
RETRO is offering for sale one, two and four-room apartments ranging from 30 to 117 square meters on five floors. It has a charming location in the center of Žilina on the corner of Framborská Street, close to the Krankas Medical Center. When construction of the units is completed, there will be urban living with an excellent layout of individual apartments. Most of the apartments will have a balcony or terrace. Directly within walking distance are shopping centers, squares, schools, kindergartens, sports facilities, restaurants and culture. The building’s architecture was designed by Mgr. arch. Martin Danák.
“We are bringing attractive housing to the city for people who wish to live and be in the center of events and everything will be just a stone’s throw away from RETRO, whether culture, sports, entertainment, shopping or good dining,” pointed out Ing. Milan Lazár, project manager at Reinoo. “We believe both the composition and layout of the apartments will appeal both to young people and families with children.”
Pre-sale of units has already started. Prices start at € 59,800. Completion and occupancy is planned for the end of 2020, when the first owners can be expected to start moving into RETRO.
“Every building in the city center has a bit of history and that is what we are endeavoring to promote and underscore,” explained Lazár, mentioning that RETRO’s concept fits ideally into Žilina’s historical district. “Thanks to the location, RETRO is going to be the ideal choice for residents who want to be in direct contact with the city’s bustle.”
Reinoo, the developer, has already completed several projects. It also successfully completed the first phase of the new Pod Zábrehom district in Púchov, which will have 108 residential units in six blocks when the project is finished. It has also reconstructed several office buildings directly in Žilina. Two years ago, the company renovated the historic Bank of Žilina on Legionárska Street next to the New Synagogue and rebuilt the former Vlčince neighborhood post office building, offering more than 12,000 square meters of leasable space. It is currently constructing Zelené (Green) Vlčince, Žilina’s largest residential project.

After months of preparation, Reinoo’s development project is moving to the next stage. The company is currently breaking ground and officially starting up the Zelené Vlčince project.
Reinoo finished construction of its new five-story building at Poštová 1 at the beginning of this year and has received final approval. The new business zone being developed along the street is now receiving its first 11,000 square meters of office space. The Poštová zone spreads into the wider city center, next to the Vlčince neighborhood and is surrounded by greenery.
The final construction permit has been issued to developer Reinoo, authorizing the breaking of ground for the Zelené Vlčince residence. The permit was granted by the City of Žilina Building Authority. Reinoo is building two residential units in the northeastern section of the Vlčince neighborhood, with 140 new apartments and 192 parking spaces. Since November, when pre-selling was launched, almost 40% of the units planned to be built have been either sold or reserved.
