Hollého 6 – representative offices in the center of Žilina

Reinoo has broken ground on the construction of the Hollého 6 office building in the center of Žilina. Hollého 6 is being built on the site of a structure that had become so dilapidated that it had to be torn down. When completed, more than 1,900 square meters of leasable space will be ready for occupancy along with 41 parking spaces.

The new office building, designed by GAŽO Architects, will have five above-ground floors, with the top floor to include an extensive terrace. The project involves a significant reduction by half of the area originally built up.

“Every city center has its own spirit and so we have been very sensitive in how we approach this construction project. Our buildings reflect the high standards today’s corporate clients demand, offering variable spaces with lots of light, open windows to naturally ventilate the office rooms, three meters clearance and high-quality sound insulation between offices. And I believe that companies as well as their employees will appreciate these elements. We haven’t forgotten the green solutions we seek in all of our projects to the maximum possible degree. The building will feature a green roof and a rainwater retention systems, while trees will be newly planted around it to grow,” says Roman Petro, a project manager at Reinoo.

The location on Hollého Street is among the best addresses in Žilina. Directly in the city center and close to the bus and train stations, there are major highway exits easy to reach that provide good connections to more than half a million people living within 45 kilometers. All important buildings such as banks, notaries, the main post office, hotels and business centers are within a ten minute walk of the offices.

"From the outset, it was clear to us that the location deserves a architectural solution beyond ordinary standards, so we suggested an office building where major customers could visit and congregate, with its height and size reflecting the scale of neighboring buildings on the street. This is expressed in the regular latticework façade with beige facing bricks and single-type windows, where a lot of emphasis was placed on the proportions, materials, colors and rendition of details so that it decently represents the desires of the people using it,” explains project author Peter Gažo.

Reinoo concentrates on residential and office development projects. In 2017, it reconstructed the historic Bank of Žilina building next to the synagogue on Legionárska ulica (street). It also successfully completed the first phase of the new Pod Zábrehom district in Púchov, which will have 108 residential units in six blocks when the project is finished. It is also finalizing the reconstruction of the former post office in the Vlčince neighborhood, which will offer upon completion more than 12,000 square meters of leasable space. Reinoo has also broken ground on its largest ever residential project, Zelené Vlčince, which in the first phase will add 140 residential units to Žilina.
